Vision boards as a job search tool? Yes, I know it’s not the traditional piece of advice you might hear. But here’s the deal, we want a new job or a new career because we imagine it will make us feel a certain way, more confident, more capable, more creative. Vision boards are a powerful way of helping you to connect to how you want to feel and the more you practice feeling that way the more you’ll draw to you the experiences that create more of that feeling. Joe Dispenza says, “If you want a new outcome, you will have to break the habit of being yourself, and reinvent a new self.” And a vision board is a great way of beginning to imagine who you want to be and how you want to feel, which puts you in a mindset that shifts you out of where you’ve been and moves you closer to where you want to go.
